Join us on this unique tour of the Douro Valley created exclusively for you and your group. Travel in the company of an experienced local guide and discover the richness and true essence of the region. Visit three wineries where you will learn about the production of different types of wine with tastings of Port and DOC Douro wines. Enjoy a typical Portuguese lunch at a local restaurant in the village of Pinhão, where you will still visit the old train station and its magnificent walls of handcrafted tiles that portray the beauty of the region.

- Our pick-ups happen between 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM (the time window for all client pick-ups), so we advise our clients to always aim to be ready at 8:00 AM in advance.

  • Douro Valley's temperature is very high in the summer and cold in the winter. Thus, light clothes in summer and warm clothes in the winter are recommended;
  • Weather Note: All of our activities happen in covered and protected spaces - we guarantee a safe and comfortable tour despite any weather conditions.
  • Note: Visits at the wineries are not fully private and are open to external participants.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Excellent entry level tour to learn about the Douro Valley and its wines. Tiago was a great guide and he offered a lot of local hints. Best part was left at the end: visit to the family-owned Quinta do Cume vineyard. All in all - a highly recommended experience!

Interesting information about the Douro valley and winemaking from our guide and driver Helio. Good vineyards visited with generous tastings and knowledgeable staff at the wineries. Included lunch was generous and tasty. One of the best trips we had during our time in Portugal

My wife and I had a great day! Sofia, our guide, was very knowledgeable, professional, hospitable, and mostly, fun! Our day was very well planned and organized! We had a wonderful day exploring the Douro valley and it’s great wineries! We would highly recommend if visiting Porto and the Douro region! ????????
