Although small in size, Portugal has a rich and varied gastronomy, based on the Mediterranean diet but with several influences. In this Cooking Class you will learn to prepare traditional Portuguese dishes based upon typical recipes. Menus are always seasonal and incorporate local products wherever possible.You will prepare and enjoy a four course meal: appetizer, soup, main course and dessert. After the class you can enjoy a well deserved meal with the dishes you prepared, paired with different Portuguese wines. Jorge our chef was amazing, very personable, he made us feel like we were cooking in our own home. He was a part of the family by the end of it all, it was supposed to end at 9:00pm and we went until 10:00pm.

COOK IN RIBEIRA - PORTO! An amazing experience, can’t say enough! Vitor, George, Claudia, and Estelle were phenomenal hosts. They all were super organized, witty, incredibly gifted and great teachers. The staff was patient kind and really wanted us to own what we prepared, guiding us, but allowing for a bit of creativity. The food was exceptionally delicious. We had a mushroom dish, vegetable soup, prawns with toast, a rice and chicken dish, and two desserts and almond tart and some kind of chocolate cold nutty cookie.
