Our day starts with a pick up at your accommodation in Porto or somewhere in the Douro Valley at 8:30am or 9:30am. During the day, you will have the wonderful opportunity to savor several Douro DOC and Port wines with commented tastings, a 50-minute boat ride at the small village of Pinhão, and a three-course meal with wines. It's now time to stop at the famous Pinhão railway station and enjoy some breathtaking landscapes. Relax: the time is all yours! Have an innovative perspective of this region’s history, culture, and gastronomy, while strolling through the vineyards where the finest wines from the “Quintas” (Wine Estates) are produced. A memorable experience! Have some time to admire the viewpoints and take group pictures – the Douro Region is truly overwhelming! At the end of this adventurous day, rest on a gentle drive to Porto, where we will drop you off comfortably at your accommodation at around 7:30 pm.

Our tour with Alfredo was the highlight of our whole trip to Portugal! Alfredo is an amazing guide, so friendly and knowledgeable. We had a lot of fun spending the day with him and enjoyed learning about the wines & Port from the Douro Valley. The tour is well planned out with each winery offering something unique. A special mention to Luis at Gueda Wines who shared his extensive knowledge and story of restoring his family's estate. The landscape of the Douro Valley is absolutely breathtaking. Thank you to Alfredo for a very special, memorable day!. We hope to be back again soon for another tour.

We had an incredible day in the Duoro Valley with Alfredo! Alfredo took us to three wineries, and each provided us with a unique experience and fantastic wines. We were impressed with Alfredo’s knowledge of wine and the area, and we also enjoyed the river cruise. Duoro Valley is absolutely beautiful and this tour was a real highlight of our trip to Portugal.

Today was a perfect day! Our personal tour guide - Alfredo - was amazing. Rob and I learned so much from him. From the most simplest thing as how to hold your glass properly to how wine and port are made. Could not have asked for a better guide. Lunch was fabulous! Beautiful wineries! We would highly recommend taking a tour with Alfredo.
