We had a truly wonderful full-day tour from Porto to Santiago de Compostela with Julio, our tour guide and driver. From the start, Julio impressed us with his professionalism—he arrived at our hotel early to ensure we reached Santiago in time to attend the Pilgrim Mass on May 1st. Throughout the day, he was attentive and thoughtful, checking in on us often, especially while we were in the long queue for the Mass. Although the tour was originally planned for 8 people, it ended up being just our family of 4, and Julio was very flexible in adjusting the itinerary to suit us. His deep knowledge of the region, warm personality, and great sense of humor made the journey engaging and memorable. He shared many fascinating stories along the way and even recommended an excellent restaurant in Santiago that we thoroughly enjoyed. Julio is an outstanding guide and driver—highly recommended if you’re visiting Porto and looking for a meaningful and enjoyable day trip!
