Portugal Active’s Horseback Riding Tour will take you through the breathtaking scenery of Viana do Castelo. You’ll pass through fields of flowers, mountain trails and even the paradisiac beaches* of the city. The tour can be made for anyone – from a beginner to a professional – we have horses for all types of riders. It will be supervised by an experienced teacher who will guide and teach you how to better control your horse. *During bathing season, there are legal restrictions on horseback riding and it isn't allowed to ride on the beach sand therefore our route will be adapted accordingly.

What a wonderful addition to my trip! We rode beautiful Frisian horses on the beach, wandered a bit through the country side. I was confused by the location but the barn is right there! Hidden from the rode, a small driveway and the VianoEquestre sign is on the block fence. Claudia is quite the horsewoman! Very knowledgeable, professional and fun! Thank you! I hope to see you again on another adventure in Portugal!

Our guide, Claudia, made this ride the trip of a lifetime. I genuinely felt like I was in.a dream. The horses are beautiful and well looked after and the ride is even more beautiful! I hope I am fortunate enough to come back and ride again! This is a must do if you are ever able to be here!

Very pleasant. Spectacular. Claudia who accompanied us was super friendly. Gave an explanation both at horse and local level. It was a nice walk, the weather was favorable too. It is an activity to repeat with friends
