The modern and easy-to-use Cabrinha and Shin equipment of our kite school ensures your safety on the water and a fast learning effect. Our kite students are coached by the patient, multilingual, well-trained and certified kite instructor. Our kite lessons are accompanied by a rescue boat (during high tide). In small groups, which comprise no more than 2 students per instructor, you will quickly and safely achieve your individual learning objective while having a nice time. Our kite spot – Ria do Alvor is a shallow and flat lagoon, where you can start your journey with kitesurfing in a nice and easy way. We are always trying to schedule our lessons during mid and low tide.

Second solo trip to this camp in 3 years, honestly the best experience... guaranteed action sports every day, incredible food and an epic villa/camp where you can meet loads of cool people from all over the world. Manuelle(Manu) and AJ- (Adrian) are both excellent instructors that helped me progress in kitesurfing, I'll be back!!!!

My experience at AWS was was unforgettable! My Kitesurfing instructor Adrian (AJ) for the first week helped me make so much progress like learning to do my first jumps and mastering different types of techniques and transitions! He also constantly encouraged me and was very supportive even when I made a mistake and got tangled with a boat… two other incredible instructors Manuel and Manouk came to take the kite off me and solved the situation with impressive teamwork! Despite snapping one of the lines on the kite, AJ told me to take another kite and go back out on to the water to not feel marked by the accident… Despite initially only planning to stay one week I decided to extend my stay for another week because of how much I liked the kitesurfing lessons and the camp in general! The staff at the camp are super friendly and accommodating and the food is amazing! Really can’t recommend this highly enough!

I was looking forward for my first kite course class. It was nice until we went to practice with the kite in the area at the beach where many families were already sunbathing. Even some people came to us because they felt insecure. I felt a bit awkward, because we could have gone to an area with no people around, but my instructor seemed like he didn't care.
