It was a relaxing dat at see, but 2 times 3 hours on a boat to arrive on An island where is the hike is max 400m in a fix trail, no free hiking. When we arrived at the rocky beach, we could not swim, snorkel of sup because the ranger notices a protected monk seal around there. Nobody of the group had been it though. So all in all, a relaxing dat, Nice lunch, but not worth price of time....

Good news first: the nature reserve on the island we visited is beautiful. But then: Don’t go there with VMT. Our guide had a very bad day. Nothing but commands and rules. And then more rules and orders to be obeyed. No friendly demeanor that would match nature’s beauty but instead military rudeness and obsessive queuing. The decent lunch back on board and other members of the crew who were very kind could not make up for this disappointing experience.

EVIL! Waste of your money! On Saturday August 9th a day tour desertas islands done with VMT Madeira. It was chilly and windy. On the way there it was completely soaked by the strong wind and high waves which made it very cold. It is a 2.5-3 hour trip to the islands. What they make you believe is that you can walk, supp and snorkel on this day. In reality, you walk in (max) 15 min under supervision on the island around the cottage that is there. You can't see anything else, you can't go beyond the cottage. Due to the bad weather we didn't get a chance to snorkel or supp. They should have cancelled the tour this day because this was literally nothing like that. After the "walk" we got a cold (!) lunch (which was supposed to be hot). Really not ok. Conclusion: for €95 pp 2x 3h on the boat to see or do (almost) nothing. It sucks. Mail sent with complaint but no response is given. Downright ridiculous, wasted money.
