This amazing 9.2 km Douro vineyards walking tour through the vine terraces takes you through a landscape of grape vines and farms with breathtaking views over the river Douro. The terraced slopes are punctuated here and there by the whiteness of farm houses and wine estates.

Not a great idea in August, but Portugal Green Walks were perfect again. I liked the camino walk better, as there were more cafe to stop, more benches to sit, when you needed a rest. The GPS and the book together did not prevent us from losing our way, but never more than a few 100 m. Very flexible and generous with cancellation in Corvid-19 times.
