We had an amazing day visiting some attractions on the west side of the island and hiking in Fanal forest. Golcaro was an awesome guide - knowledgeable, professional, and very pleasant. We would definitely recommend him - 5 stars!!

We had an amazing time at Fanal. Gonçalo was great with kids guiding them through the magical forest filled with fairies and suggesting perfect tree houses. Kids loved it a lot. Gonçalo also tailored our trip to our interests and speed (with kids it can be slow, so he adjusted the route). We stopped at Seixal black sand beach and Praia da Ribeira da Janela. We liked it a lot. Highly recommend to anyone!

Fantastic trip, amazing trees, Gonçalo was an excellent guide. He knew the best routes, showed us the most popular trees but also took us off the beaten track to a denser area of trees. He was very safe both in driving and in his guidance on the walk, making adjustments to the route and giving us options as my partner had a bad knee. I felt I had fully experienced the different areas of Fanal and the timing around two hours was just right. We had a nice short stop to have a quick walk on the black sand beach at Seixal also on the way.
