We were part of a one traveller excursion and there were 4 of us in the vehicle. It was cramped inside, only a child’s seat belt on the centre seat so not very safe. The vehicle was tatty and dirty. There was a convoy of 5 vehicles the one in front was barely roadworthy blowing out thick black smoke periodically. The scenery was breathtaking, the off road unnecessary and the rum tasting was barely worth a visit. At the restaurant I got covered in thick mud ruined my trousers. The food in the restaurant was excellent but very rushed. Our driver Dino was pleasant but was driving whilst taking video.

We had Luis as our guide and driver , came on time and made us feel like we are in good hands , his knowledge is huge ; I learned a lot about the island and it history out of him .. He even was kind enough to give me his jacket ( forgot to bring my own ) .. during the trip we met other guides and they all seems to be genuine people . Professionalism at it peack . Nicely planed trip with enough time at each place . Highly recommended. Thank you Luis Castro .
