Walk at Alvor dunes to discover the birds thanks to the boardwalk with a nice and experienced guide. The tour ends by an ice-cream or a drink by the beach. It is possble to have a swim in summer.

    We will discover the birds at Alvor dunes using the boardwalk. This tour will be on foot at a slow pace and it is possible to stop for a swim. The tour ends with a drink or an ice-cream by the beach.

Gillaume was an excellent tour guide over the Alvor dunes. He was knowledgable, personable and very attentive to us to make the tour enjoyable. We loved that he gave us a paper to check list everything we saw, we saw 25 different types including hoopoe, wheatears and crested larks. We are amateur birders and really enjoyed the morning tour. Thank you Gillaume.

Great tour today with Guillaume from A Rocha Life! We saw 28 species of birds and Guillaume was an excellent guide with outstanding knowledge. We were able to spot and to photograph flamingos, spoonbills, white storks and many more species. Thank you to Guillaume and the team behind him! Highly recommended when you’re around in Algarve, it’s a paradise for birds here.
