Lovely walk by the levada. Our guide was very accommodating and went his way to show us the beauty of Madeira. We also ended up climbing and crawling in the water, but only because we asked for it????. It was not only fun but educating. We learned things about the surrounding nature that we would have never noticed on our own. Recommended!

Miguel took us through the Levada with respect for the nature and its ressources. He told us a lot about the island and its history. He also drove us to Santana- even though it was not a part of the trip. The walk is not difficult. Make sure to wear practical shues that can take some water.

Our guide was fantastic and very adaptable to whatever we wanted, in terms of rests, snacks. We definitely learned more and saw more with a specialist guide, with an extra visit to a bar on the way home. Thank you!
