In this tour, we will demonstrate how exquisite the Northwest side of our sweet island is. Going through our local villages, old roads and narrating about old times, you will have a perspective of how our people used to and still live nowadays with their culture and traditions. Waterfalls will be something that you see very often along the roads from Seixal to São Vicente, beautiful and natural sights of water falling down throughout the rocks and cliffs. Agua D'alto is one of many waterfalls in the area, where we will make a brief stop to contemplate its simplicity and natural beauty as well as to see the astounding view of São Vicente and Ponta Delgada. In general this will be a tour with a lot of interesting, diverse and unique environments and landscapes. Recommended for four people due to the size of the seats but can go up to a group of six.

We hired Edgar for a private excursion to explore the island without the crowds. Edgar's luxuruius 4x4 Landrover was spacious and comfortable for the 4 of us, his driving and navigational skills brought us to many hidden places. He has an extense knowledge of the islands history, plant live and people. It was an exciting, entertaining and interesting experience. Edgar adjusted the trip to our wishes, stopped for great foto opportunities and added places we did not even know existed. He is our #1 choice for any trip around the island.

We ( me and my 14yo son) had our best day in Madeira island with Edgar during our private tour to Porto Moniz. Very knowledgeable about the history and curiosities of each spot and a great driver! We would have never got to those spots without him driving through the back roads with us. The super extra mile was when he drove us back to the skywalk by the end o of the day because it was very cloudy the morning when we had been there. Highly recommended!
