We did this walk last week. Booked a tour up in a minibus with a few other people. We were not really prepared for the waterfalls but luckily managed to get through without becoming too wet! We made our way back from the mid point without the rest of the party on suggestion of our very helpful guide Elio aka Elvis !! A great idea as it gave us the chance to enjoy a poncha while soaking up the sun! The walk is approximately 12km in total and is not a difficult walk. The scenery is breathtaking and we would recommend this walk for anyone who enjoys walking.

This is a walk to the waterfall & back. 5.4kms in & the same back.
What a lovely walk. A few steps to start and then flat following the Levarda. They are maintaining the route so a few ‘dicey’ places where there are sheer drops but 95% of the time it has a railing & fine. When you start there are Agapanthus lining the lavarda not in bloom at this time (Nov) but in aug/sept the sight would be magical. There is a waterfall you have to duck under, unless it’s summer I’d put on a waterproof jacket. It’s pretty intense. It was very muddy in areas but with proper footwear not an issue.
Great cafe on the return where you can park for snacks, ice creams, coffee etc.
