Beautiful scenery, skilled captain, and interesting commentary. The boat was well designed for this kind of trip…..not too big…..not too small.

I was excited to do this tour and see the caves at Benagil. I assumed we would only be able sail by them but our guides brought the boat right inside the caves. We went as far into the Benagil cave as possible and then toured near and even through other nearby caves. Sam was a great tour guide (in English) and the craft was fast but not dangerously so. A great tour!

I took the two hour tour and was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed it. Be prepared for the first 40 minutes as it’s a wild ride on the open seas as you crash down over each wave. Captain is competent and you’re in very good hands; just imagine you’re on an amusement park ride and breathe. You’ll get a full explanation of each of the caves and areas you visit which adds to the experience. They apologize at the end of our tour that we didn’t see dolphins, but I wasn’t even planning to see dolphins so it was no big deal. Had we seen a dolphin, it would have been a bonus.
