    You can choose to visit Funchal city, learn about its history, visit some of its iconic landmarks and areas, like the XV century Old Town, the Sé Cathedral, its famous “Mercado dos Lavradores” (farmer’s market) or “Fortaleza do Pico”. Your guide/driver will also take throughout the back streets to places that only a true local knows.

    The lush hill side village of Monte at 550 meters above sea level, has lovely gardens, fantastic views and its where the famous “Taboggan Ride” is found.

  • Miradouro do Cristo Rei do Garajau, Portugal
    The east cliffs of Garajau can also provide excellent views over the Atlantic Ocean and the city of Funchal. On the way up the first stop will be at Pináculo, 280m above sea level and located on the edge of a cliff. Travel on through to Garajau, set at the east end of the bay of Funchal. You will be offered a spectacular view of the "Christ the Redeemer" statue (older than the one in Brazil), whilst marveling at the crystal-clear waters below.

  • Baia de Camara de Lobos, Camara De Lobos, Portugal
    The e fishing village of Câmara de Lobos is famous for its picturesque looks, with colorful fishing boats in the dry dock right in the center of the village, a small bay and steep hills crowded with small old buildings. Its unique beauty was immortalized in one of Winston Churchill´s painting. Once in the village you will have the opportunity to explore it and learn about its history, culture and try some of the local delicacies.

    After your visit to the fishing village you can head up the hills to the top of Cabo Girão cliff where, at its highest point, 580 meters above sea level, a glass sky-walk will provide some breathtaking views over the south east coast and beach below.

Great time with a terrific guide! João was our guide and we told him to use his judgment and show us around in and near Funchal. Seeing everything from a tuk-tuk was a blast and we thoroughly enjoyed our excursion. We heartily recommend!

I booked this 3 hour tour as a surprise for my partners birthday. We were picked up on time by the lovely Margarita. She took us to places we would never have found by ourselves, showed us some awesome views and her knowledge of the Island was fantastic. We had an amazing morning and she even shared some local traditions with us. She advised us about different trips and things that you can do at different times of the year here. So now we have to come back for New year and in the summer. The only downside was the time went so quickly but I would certainly book another tour the next time we come back and highly recommend booking a trip with this company. Her driving skills on some of these scary roads was brilliant. She pointed out so many places that we should visit we will need to cone back a few times. It was a great start to his birthday on an amazing island. Thank you for a great morning

Great tour guy! Safe driver! Good knowledge of Madiera and the sites to visit. We followed her recommendations on what to see. Would recommend this Tuk Tuk Tour to those wanting to get to know the island. THIS WAS A GREAT TOUR!
