    The magnificent walk along the Serra da Faial is one hundred years old. Starting in Vale do Paraíso and finishing in Rochão. Along the way you'll see cultivated terraces, spectactular gardens and beautiful views over the village of Camacha. A wonderful stroll that will make your holiday on the island.

  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Fantastic walk well worth the money and our tour guide had a wealth of experience and we really enjoyed him telling us about the plants and flowers a must!!

We weren’t sure what to expect when we booked this walk, but we loved every minute! Tim was our guide and he was such fun! He was so interesting and knowledgeable about the area and the plants, as well as providing us with tips for walking the forest. He looked after us really well! This is the perfect levada walk as a ‘starter’ or for those less mobile. We were a small group of 5. We would definitely book another tour!

Gabriel picked us up promptly and was charming, friendly and knowledgeable about Madeira, its history and the flora and fauna of the area. The walk was easy and very enjoyable. The pace was perfect for casual walkers.
