This is it! This walk will give you a fuller idea of the real beauty of this island. Rock formations seem to want to reach the sky like endless sculptures. Along the way the views are simply breathtaking. Numerous plants have their habitat here, and it is to see them dress proudly in a multitude of colors in small flowers for all to see. Near Pico Ruivo we pass through the oldest heather forest. These old trees count for hundreds of years already and they already existed when Zarco arrived at the Island. From here to Pico Ruivo (the highest peak on the island) is just a step away - take advantage and dazzle yourself with magnificent views of the island. A fascinating walk through breathtaking landscapes designed for true explorers!

    The Pico do Arieiro Pike, 1818 meter high, is the third highest summit in the Island of Madeira. It is highly advised to climb all the way up to the top of this mountain to enjoy the great beauty of the volcanic landscape and its wonderful views.

    This is as good as it gets! This walk will give you more complete picture of the real beauty of this island. Rock formations seem to want to reach heaven like giant sculptures. Throughout the entire tour the views are simply breathtaking.
  • Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap

  • Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness

Must try! We were lucky with the weather and met new friends :) Sérgio and Alex were great! Sérgio was great to make everything feel included and Alex was good spotter! Especial thanks to him for showing me great places to take videos!

The guide an tour were brilliant can't fault them at all was a good day out the summits are well worth the visit the only downside was a large section of pr1 is closed but that's not the tour operators fault

Great tour!! Sergio our guide was very friendly and made sure everyone was safe. The group was from all over the World & we all got on very well. Great value for money.... weather not ideal, but was a great day!!
