Stop at Serra da Tronqueira viewpoint and embrace the imposing view over the mountain range and Pico da Vara, the highest point of the Island with 1103m and dazzle with the Laurissilva forest, composed of Azorean Cedar, Azorean Blueberry, Azorean Sweet Bay and Azorean Holly, endemic plants, natural habitat of the Priolo.

Family of 3 had a wonderful experience with Jose on August 25; Jose was extremely informative and personable, with superb English and deep historical/ecological/geological knowledge; Jose customized our trip so that we saw the stunning scenery of Nordeste and felt very close to the land through his expert narration and navigation through the hills and valleys; we were off the beaten tourist path and had a private experience of the island's wild corners. We highly recommend Jose and his tours!
