Mario at IdilicAzores was wonderful to work with in scheduling my private tour starting from the cruise port. Tiago was my fantastic driver/guide. I peppered him with many questions during our tour and he patiently answered all my questions. He explained about the various plants and trees that we saw along the way (because I was interested in that topic). He also provided relevant facts and background about the different sites we visited. Tiago provided an introduction to Sao Miguel Island that exceeded my expectations. When my tour was over, I was wishing for another day in port to visit the Furnas area with Tiago. Maybe on my next Transatlantic cruise!
