Myself, my wife and adult daughter took a private tour of the eastern half of Madeira. Our guide, Hugo, was fantastic! We visited so many areas with beautiful scenery and fantastic views that we could never have seen on our own. Hugo also gave us some great ideas for what to do on the rest of our vacation. We were so impressed with their team and our experience that we ended up booking another Hit the Road Madeira tour for later in the week! Highly highly recommend.

I finally want to express my heartfelt thanks to the entire Hit the Road Madeira team. In August and September ’24, I had again the pleasure of joining them for various tours again. These included 2 Tasca Tours, 1 Espetada Tour, 1 Sunset Tour, 1 East Tour, and a private Secret Sunrise Tour. ???????? Wow, really 6 tours? ???? Throughout all these experiences, I truly felt that Jeff and his team made a special effort to connect with each of us individually while also bringing the whole group together. This creates a wonderful shared time and memory by the end of the day/tour. Each guide and also Jeff shares a lot of interesting facts and knowledge about Madeira, making every moment engaging. Even when it comes to the lunch time or for a Poncha ????, they choose restaurants that are not overrun by tourists, offering a more authentic experience. For those new to Madeira, I highly recommend the food tours (Tasca Tour or Espetada Tour). You have the chance to explore local restaurants and bars and see it through the eyes of a local while sampling incredibly delicious food and drinks. A huge thank you this time to Jeff for my private secret sunrise Birthday tour, to Hugo for the Sunset Tour, and to Fabio for the food tours and the East Tour. And one last thing… I’M COMING BACK!!! ???????????? …I promise! ????
