On this tour you will be the driver of an ATV and this will probably be the best way to feel the Island. Filipe was an excellent guide, and I cannot rate this tour more highly!! My husband and I booked the full day tour while visiting the Azores on our honeymoon (DEFINITELY get your own quads if you're comfortable, it's so much fun), and it was absolutely one of the highlights of our trip. The views were mostly obscured while we were up above the caldeira—but it seriously only added to the experience! It looked like we were on a strip of road through nothingness—and the glimpses of views with sun shining through the mist was very mystical. Along with Filipe, there was one other couple with us, so we had a nice, smaller-sized group and great company. We had well planned stops for espresso and lunch and bathroom breaks, and got to see a huge variety of sights around NE Sao Miguel. I could have gone 5 hours more! :) Thanks Filipe for a great day!

Ich hatte einen so schönen Tag. Filipe ist ein super Guide. Er hat uns die schönsten Orte der Gegend gezeigt. Die Offroad Abschnitte waren ein Traum. Die Route inkl. Lunch war perfekt gewählt. Leider ging der Tag viel zu schnell vorbei. Würde die Tour immer wieder machen. Muito Obrigada ♡

J'aimerai pouvoir mettre 6 ou 7 étoiles à Felipe ainsi qu'à l'extraordinaire tour en quad qu'il nous a fait vivre - avec de vrais passages pour quad seulement :-). Sa gentillesse, sa sérénité et sa disponibilité n'ont d'équivalent que son très grand professionnalisme ! Et les lieux secrets où il nous emmène nous font connaître le coeur même de son île merveilleuse. Rien à voir avec certains autres "tours", tellement plus conventionnels ou commerciaux (sur la même île). Bref, je recommande chaleureusement, sans aucune réserve.
