Starting with pickup from your centrally located Funchal hotel, in an air-conditioned vehicle driven by your guide, you will get a chance to see some of the highlights of the Madeira Island. On this 4-hour tour, you'll visit Pico dos Barcelos, Eira do Serrado, and Monte, just to name a few. Your group of, at most, eight people will also get a chance to try a traditional chestnut cake and the Ginja liqueur.

Because of an itinerary change with our cruise line, we had to change tours and what a great tour!! Domingo gave us a great tour of the island and what I thought was gonna be a tour of common sites of interest became a tour custom fitted for us! It was nice going to spots that large tour buses couldn’t go. If you want a personal touch, this is the half day tour you want. You won’t be disappointed!!

The tour was cancelled by the operator with less than 12 hours notice. As we were on a cruise and it was nearly midnight we had no options for booking an alternative tour. Avoid this operator (BeDriven). If we wanted to cancel we had to provide 24hrs notice but the Operator can cancel at any time.

S’il était possible de mettre 0 étoiles cela serait exactement représentatif ! Excursion annulée 1h30 avant le début pour « condition météorologiques » alors qu’il faisait beau temps ! J’appelle l’agence pour exprimer mon mécontentement et explique que cela est totalement faux ! Et là ça bégaye et l’on me dit que le chauffeur aurait eu un accident …. Tiens donc … Que de mensonges ! Une honte quand je prends soin la veille de bien tout re confirmer avec l’agence l’heure de départ, le lieu etc … Il y a un ÉNORME PROBLÈME au Portugal avec les prestations de services à fournir ! Une nonchalance et une faculté a noyer le poisson à toute épreuve pour y être allé 4 fois ! Une HONTE ! Je ne recommande pas cette excursion !
