On this 4-hour tour we will visit a winery. We will learn more about the wine production process by visiting the production room and the wooden barrel room. You will taste 3 local wines accompanied by a plate of tapas with cheese and sausages. We will discover the secrets of the countryside, where you will see the famous Algarve oranges, ancient Cork trees and some of the oldest villages in the region. You will have free time to visit the picturesque city of Silves, an ancient Moorish village with one of the most beautiful castles in Portugal. The cobbled streets add even more charm to Silves.

We had a great Wine tasting tour and Silves Castle visit from Lagos last week. Antonio is such a great tour guide (we have done tours with him in the past) . He is very kind, knowledgeable and accommodating. Plenty of time to roam about in the old Castle grounds and views of the countryside from the castle walls were so lovely. The Family owned Quinta do Frances winery was so beautiful. Quiet and peaceful. The staff was welcoming, delicious wines and nice tapas. A very enjoyable day! Highly recommend Debbie P
