Exceptional walking tour led by Len, a very interesting young German man on a gap year, volunteering as a guide. I was the only customer on this walk and benefitted from Len's detailed knowledge and enthusiasm as he brought the history of Funchal to life. We visited all the sites on the itinerary and Len delivered interesting facts in a very engaging manner. One point to note for others is that a part of the walk involves going up a steep path with many steps, which was fine for me but might be difficult for those with mobility issues or other health problems. This should perhaps be mentioned in the tour description. Overall great experience.

We recently enjoyed the "mysteries" walk with Aaron, a volunteer student from Germany. It is well worth it and we learned a lot and saw some "hidden" gems of Funchal. Highly recommended.
