The ultimate tour (2 days)

Passeio abrangente sobre a ilha, cobrindo suas principais atrações, sem perder tempo e sem ser superficial. Guias atenciosos sem ser condescendentes e que indicaram opções de almoço e o que fazer nas paradas. Útil para fazer um panorama do local e deixar saudades para voltar outra vez para passar mais tempo.

Booked the 2 days tour. 1st day went ahead as planned even the guide came late fetching. Reached hotel as planned but received late text that the 2nd day tour to the West was cancelled as the driver/guide was down with Covid. Long story cut short. At 10pm, there was no way i can secure any other tour for the next day. Luckily, i brought along my international driving license. Rented a car the next day but i have to pay €128.50 for this last minute rental to secure the car at 10am. Although this operator refunded half the fare but this should not be the way to spoil your visitors' plan visiting your lovely island. No standby, no replacement, just cancel and take the refund and you are left stranded. Lesson learnt, i will make it a habit checking about contingency plans all operators have.

Wir haben die 2 Tagestour mit Renato von Feeling Madeira gemacht. Er ist ein sympathischer Guide und sicherer Fahrer, der mit viel Herzblut und Witz Wissen über Madeira vermittelt hat. Wir haben 2 wundervolle Tage verbracht und ich bin froh dies nicht mit Mietwagen gemacht zu haben. Die Gruppengröße ist sehr angenehm. Zu empfehlen war auch das gemeinsame Mittagessen in Santana das man zusätzlich buchen konnte. Einzigstes Manko ist dass die Tour eigentlich auf Deutsch gebucht war und sie in Englisch war. Da meine Mutter kein Englisch spricht musste ich für sie übersetzen. Es ist auch empfehlenswert den Veranstalter am Tag vorher zu kontaktieren um die genaue Abholzeit zu erfahren. Auf dem Voucher selbst stand 9 Uhr was aber nicht stimmte. Da es Stau gab hat sich diese allerdings teilweise verschoben.
