Would recommend if clear skies are expected. Unfortunately, I booked on a cloudy/foggy day, so I found most of the trip not as impressive as it would have been. Guide was knowledgeable and professional, jeep was clean and comfortable.

We had a private tour with myself my wife and daughter . From the start Hugo made all of us feel special. His pride in his island of Sao Miguel comes though with every location we went to. He started by asking us what exactly we wanted to do and see. We wanted an authentic experience. He truly gave us that. We even stopped at an authentic place for lunch which had great food and a great view. Thank you for that Hugo ( Pico still has the best octopus). We saw so so much , what a day. The views were spectacular. This was our first experience on Sao Miguel and what a beautiful island. We will be definitely coming back . You can’t see it all in one day that is for sure. But we did see and learned a lot. Again the difference in our experience on this tour was Hugo. Thank you Hugo for making a great great day for me and my family. You made it even that more special.
