1,5-Hour Prague Monasteries Segway Tour

We decided upon this tour rather late during our stay in Prague, but Segway Point folks were so very friendly and helpful, and it is only because of their professional attitude could we actually do the our. First off, we are both senior citizen in our 70s, and naturally not as nimble as younger folks, so we were hesitant, a little scared and apprehensive about operating the Segways. The instructor was very patient and took his time, did not hurry us up at all! He took us on a route that had no traffic and passed through a very pretty park. Only once we had gained a little confidence did he take us on to the mail road. This really helped. The tour itself is quite nice, passing through some scenic areas, and the Instructor stopped now and then to explain the history behind some of the structures. All in all, we were completely satisfied with the tour.

Am Morgen unserer Tour zum Petrin Aussichtsturm inklusive Besteigung hat es stark geschneit. Wir hatten erst Bedenken, ob die Tour überhaupt durchgeführt wird und ob es sicher genug sei. Aber dann war das Fahren der Segways selbst für uns komplett unerfahrene Fahrer (meine Freundin und ich) im Schnee nach kurzer Eingewöhnung gar kein Problem. Unser sympathischer Tourguide Frederick, der perfekt deutsch spricht, hat stets Rücksicht auf uns genommen und zeigte uns Tipps und Gefahrenquellen. Des Weiteren gab es stets viele Informationen zu Prag und den Sehenswürdigkeiten auf dem Weg. Man konnte ihn alles fragen und der Kontakt war sehr persönlich. Er hat sich die Zeit gelassen die wir brauchten und wir konnten uns nach Besteigung des Turms auch noch kurz in dem Café unten aufwärmen und etwas warmes trinken. Blöderweiser hatte ich trotz starkem Schneefall und ca 10 cm Schnee meine Handschuhe vergessen, aber bekam freundlicherweise welche zur Verfügung gestellt. Während unser Ausfahrt bekamen wir noch praktische Tipps für unseren restlichen Urlaub bezüglich Nahverkehr, gutem Essen, lohnenswerte Sehenswürdigkeiten und vielem mehr. Insgesamt absolut für Segway und Scooter Touren zu empfehlen, hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht!!

We placed a private group booking for 10. The location was easy to find based on the directions from the confirmation email. On arrival at the shop we were invited to sign a short declaration and then were given the opportunity to practice and familiarize with the Segways. Our guides for the tour were Joseph and Andrew - great characters who managed the group well and ensured we had a great time whilst also learning about Prague. We particularly enjoyed the tour of the football stadium and the chance to have some fun in a safe location on the Segways. We would fully recommend Segway Point and this was one of the best activities we took part in during the long weekend! Joseph and Andrew did a fantastic job and were a credit to the Segway Point team.
