    After arriving at the Koněprusy Caves southwest of Prague (a Czech Cultural Monument located in the Bohemian Karst Protected Landscape Area), you will join a guided excursion of the largest underground cave system in Bohemia. Admire the majestic stalagmites and stalactites all around you. Learn about the prehistoric Celtic settlements which existed there. Visit the jaw-dropping limestone domes and halls.

  • Karlstejn Castle, Karlstejn, Czech Republic
    Upon arriving to the Karlstejn visit we will take a cab that will transport us up the hill to the castle where you will visit the 14th century residence of medieval Bohemian kings which protected the Crown Jewels and other royal tresures. Admire the collections of art as well as many historical relics. The tour is guided and delivered in English (basic tour- can't guarantee size of the group- can vary based on the season).

We definitely enjoyed our trip to Karlstejn Castle and to the Koneprusy Caves. Our guide, Joseph, shared a great deal of information, especially at the caves since he was able to draw on his geology background. This really helped because the tour at the caves was in Czech and Joseph translated everything for us and added additional information. Karlstejn Castle was stunning and the guide at the castle was also very knowledgeable. The included lunch near the castle was also great. We highly recommend this day trip from Prague.

Our driver Povel and our Guide Povel were both fantastic. We really enjoyed our time with them. They we fun engaging and in no time we felt like they were old friends. They ensured all of our needs were met. Our guide was deeply knowledgable and passionate about his rich culture and history. The Kastle was amazing and beautiful, lunch was local and authentic, the caves were beautiful. It was a terrific day, and one we will remember fondly.

I recommend this day trip. There were 6 people in group + guide. Guide was informative and and easy to follow. The trip was well planned, the guide gave us snack bag and lunch was also included. We were picked up from our hotel and arrived early to the caves. Caves were beautiful and very interesting for us as we had never been in a real cave before. We even saw a real bat. In castle there was a general tour with special castle guide. The guide was also informative. Castle itself is beautiful and with interesting history. Unfortunately you don't visit all rooms in castle with this tour. So if you are very interested in the castle, you should consider visiting the castle on your own and book two or three different tours as different tours go to different parts of castle. There are many stairs in caves and you have to climb uphill to castle, so this tour is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
