Zwinger gallery The Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister in Dresden, Germany, displays around 750 paintings from the 15th to the 18th centuries. It includes major Italian Renaissance works as well as Dutch and Flemish paintings. Outstanding works by German, French and Spanish painters of the period are also among the gallery's attractions. - Please, note that the gallery will be closed until February 28th and you will visit Royal Palace instead. Visit some of its historical monuments such as the Royal Palace, which was once the hub of power for the Saxon princes and kings. First mentioned in the 14th century as a castle complex, the four-wing palace structure was developed in the 15th century.

“Misu” - our guide. Wow. What a guide. Kept us informed with regular updates via a special WhatsApp group. Extremely knowledge but never rambled on - just kept to the key points and interesting facts. That’s my type of guide. Highly recommend this experience - National Park was breathtaking and Dresden slowly rising the ashes of her tragic past. Thoroughly enjoyable and we were well taken care of.

It was a perfect day. The views of Bestei were awe-inspiring. The tour of Dresden was excellent. We were able to make efficient use of the time we had there with the advice and expertise of our guides. Both our guides were excellent. They were friendly, informative and made sure we were looked after. The lunch was great as well!
