    During this tour, you will visit the sea-turtle conservation project (Projeto Tamar). In this project, you will also see other animals, like sharks and manta rays! The main objective of the project is to protect sea turtles from extinction in the Brazilian coastline.

    Get back to the air conditioned bus to get to next stop: you will enjoy sea bathing at Praia de Guarajuba, (famous for its warm waters and tide pools). After selecting for the tour to be in English we were collect by a lady who could only speak Portugese. After some confusion and google translating later we were transferred on to another coach where thankfully the new lady spoke English. Where understandably traffic cannot be helped we spent the majority of our day traveling with only 3.5 hours out of the 10 hours on the coach having been collected at 07:30 and being dropped back at after 17:30. I am also sure when I book said lunch was included to later find 'food and drink' to not be included, this is very misleading.

Fuimos a pasar el día a Praia do Forte desde Bahía. Nosotros optamos por alquilar un auto ya que era mas conveniente y la ruta estaba muy bien (70KM). Además como nos hospedamos en Río Vermelho, no había grandes dificultades. El lugar es muy lindo. el agua esta limpia y se puede hacer snorkel o buceo. Hay que tener en cuenta que para acceder a la playa mas tranquila, que queda del otro lado de la principal, hay que pedir para entrar en alguno de los complejos ya que todos son privados y dan al mar. Lo interesante que una vez que te encuentras en la playa solo ves arena blanca, palmeras y mar. El centro es lindo, alegre, con restaurantes y buenas tiendas. El auto hay que aparcarlo en los estacionamientos disponibles. Vale la pena quedarse una noche.
