We will explore the center of the island focusing in some areas that deserve some love and attention. As so Câmara de Lobos, the astonishing Cabo Girão Skywalk, the vineyards along the roads and the viewpoint to Nun's Valley , these will be some of the highlights. We will go through some villages, enjoying their sympathy, simplicity and the essence of the locals. Have a glimpse at their "terraces" and to the most iconic pieces in the island. Exploring Banana plants, vineyards and varieties of vegetables, making a big part of the beautiful landscapes we have here, being as fascinating as the mountain and cliff views we love and preserve. We had a private tour by 4x4 with Edgar from "Always Madeira. The trip was a great experience and very interesting and enjoyable. Edgar is an excellent tour guide with a lot of knowledge, experience, patience and a great sense of humor. The trip is in a very comfortable and spoiling Land Rover, for those like us who suffer from bad back but still want to enjoy an off-road trip, Edgar knows the road well and have lot of experience on off road trail. really recommended experience. Thank you for a marvelous trip which gave us a good taste from Madeira, "Heaven in the ocean" . We hope to visit again soon.

The highlight of our 18-day Trans Atlantic cruise was the four hours we spent exploring the picturesque island of Madeira with Always Madeira 4x4. Edgar was the perfect guide, providing us with an educational history of the island, stops at breathtaking viewpoints, and time to enjoy each of the scenic highlights. The winding mountain roads, the numerous waterfalls, and the scenic shore with the tidal pools at Porto Moniz can only touch the surface of everything we experienced during that time. Edgar customized the tour to our needs and covered much ground during our time in his impeccable, well-maintained 4x4 Land Rover. Forget the large groups...get a personal tour with an individual and a company that share a passion for the island of Madeira and are willing to share that passion with their customers!
