We booked this trip the day before and this was one of the highlights of our first trip to Morocco.
Lahlali was a great safe driver and I noticed he got us to our stops ahead of the larger groups. He spoke excellent English and was easy to talk with.
We stopped at a ceramics shop and an argon oil cooperative, both places are obviously aimed at tourists, I purchased from both and now have a beautiful Moroccan lantern hanging in my garden as a memory of our trip. We particularly liked our visit to the Argan oil co-operative and it does really make your hair and skin feel fantastic. I also tasted the most delicious peanut butter, unfortunately, I did not budget enough for the shopping with cash, and my card would not work, if I visited again I would take enough dirhams as I could have purchased more. It was such a great experience buying from the makers of the products.
The walk in the mountains to the waterfalls was amazing, our guide Mohammed was great and slowed down when needed ensuring we took care and holding my hand to help. My husband and I consider ourselves of average fitness for our age (58 and 65) but make sure you are dressed appropriately with sensible footwear.
On the way back we had food in a Berber house, the food was a salad followed by a chicken tagine with homemade bread. The food was plentiful and fresh.
We were unsure of what to expect on the trip and so glad we chose the private option as we were able to chat with Lahlali and learn about the culture and country . We recommend the trip, driver and company .
