    During this full day tour you learn about normal people, like you are, who were born in wrong time of history. You explore places where horrible things happened to kepp memory of those who died and keep hope it never happen again. You start your journey at Auschwitz I – the Museum and former Concentration Camp. Next, after short break you continue you visit at Birkenau - the biggest Nazi German Death Camp. You see the places, but you learn about people who were responsible for what happen and those who died.

The couple who are Krakow 4 you, Alicia and Dariusz, are the best! Personable, attentive, caring, flexible, thoughtful and ....... e.g. I thought I had included the option for the Schindler's factory tour, but hadn't. The two of them made it work anyway, taking us to the factory that afternoon with Alicia waiting in line for us and then giving us a wonderful tour. Before that, after the first part of the tour (Auschwitz), Dariusz offered to drive us around the perimeter of Birkenau and give us a guided tour with wonderful explanation and context rather than the official walking tour, which involved a lot of walking for very little content as the wooden barracks were destroyed by the locals at the time for their use (after the liberation). We found the Auschwitz tour was not allotted enough time. The guide was rushed and when requested to slow down, would not due to time constraints. This is not entirely his fault. For a tour of such significance and the distance many come to be there, it should be a more measured meaningful thoughtful experience, not a rushed one.

This review is far overdue, but we did not want to miss sharing a much deserving review for Alicja. In the summer of 2023, we took a 3 generation trip to Poland from the USA. There were 11 of us and with limited time in the Krakow area, we had hoped to visit Auschwitz, Birkenau and hopefully Oskar Schindler's Enamel Factory too. After much research, we contacted Krakow4you as they offered this option and their reviews were excellent. They did not disappoint! From our first communication, Alicja was nothing short of wonderful and accommodating. She worked with us to create a detailed itinerary, being attentive to our requests and making it all possible and flawless.  Upon meeting Alicja, she was extremely kind and full of knowledge. Her personal and historical stories captivated us throughout the day and she was devoted to making our tour the best possible. It is a day we will never forget and we have Alicja to thank for this. Her compassion and passion truly shined and made the tour and our experience outstanding.
