This tour introduces you to a tasting of famous traditional Belgian flavors. We stroll around the medieval heart of Brussels and visit local beer parlors, food stalls and chocolatiers. A 4-hour experience. Along with local flavors tasting experience you will get the personalized guiding into the local culture, architecture and history of Brussels. You will sample the world-famous Belgian beers, cheese, fries, chocolate, waffles and more! During our walk I'll share wonderful stories about the local cuisine and lively historical anecdotes.

  • Place St. Gery, Brussels, Belgium
    The Saint-Géry Market Halls are a fine architectural example of 19th-century public markets in Brussels. The building was completely restored several years ago and is now a permanent information and exhibition space, with urban planning, heritage, and urban renewal as its central themes.

    The Sainte-Catherine neighborhood is very dear to Brussels. A place to go out and socialize, this place is famous for its restaurants, its church and its many interesting bars and restaurants. A canal used to run through here; it's now reduced to a couple of elongated ponds, but both sides are lined with seafood restaurants, some excellent, many of them overpriced. In good weather, there's waterside dining.

Joyce was an absolute pleasure. Her tour was very informative and fun at the same time. We had 3 teenagers with us who were equally enamored by Joyce’s tour. The food choices she made for us to try were phenomenal. I just wish I could eat more! Joyce is extremely knowledgeable and a true professional through and through. I recommend this tour for any age group. Just make sure you come with an empty belly!

Joyce was an amazing tour guide. We booked a private tour from Paris to Luxembourg to Germany and then around Belgium. She also gave us the food tour in Brussels, which was also amazing!! She is so knowledgeable, kind and patient. We feel like we now have a family member in Belgium. She treated us like family and taught us so much. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with her and will definitely hire her again for another tour. She was also great with our children. We highly recommend Joyce and can’t wait to travel with her again.

We just finished our tour with Danielle. What a terrific experience and a fantastic to taste AND experience Brussels! She was very knowledgeable local guide and spoke clear English. Danielle showed us the excellent food options that are famous to Brussels, and we tasted these yummy delights - waffles, chocolates, local fish, cheese, salami, beer and wine. What a delight! This is a MUST do when in Brussels!!!
