    This is the ultimate tour for chocolate, wine and sparkling wine lovers! After your hotel pick up, we will drive one hour to the Curacaví Valley nestled in the Coastal Mountain Range. Here, we will stop at a family-run chocolate shop where the owners will explain their chocolate preparation process during which you will sample some of the store’s specialty chocolates infused with interesting flavors, including oregano, ají chile peppers, and honey mustard. Enjoy a cup of coffee during the sampling before heading to the next stop on the tour.

  • Matetic Vineyards, Casablanca, Chile
    From the Curacaví Valley, we will travel deep into the Casablanca Wine Valley to Matetic Vineyard. At the vineyard’s Emporium, you will experience a flight of wines in chocolate shot cups. Choose from Matetic’s Syrah, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir or Gewürztraminer from the Corralillo or EQ lines.

    Viñamar is located in the neighboring Casablanca Wine Valley. Once at Viñamar, you will take a tour of the vineyard and then enjoy a tasting of their world-renowned sparkling wines. The winery’s name pays homage to the valley’s primary virtue: its beneficial proximity to the sea. This tour is a “must do” for chocolate and “bubbly” aficionados!

Our guide, Daniel, picked us up from the cruise terminal in Valparaiso and we embarked on a wonderful tour of wineries in the beautiful Casablanca Valley. We had a good visit at Casa Valle Viñamar where we were treated to a new sparkling wine they have made from the muscat grape. It was delicious! Then we continued to Casas del Bosque where we had a fabulous lunch at Tanino's restaurant. Each course was accompanied by a different wine. Our last stop was at Chocolatería Mucané in Curacaví. The owner, Fernando was most charming as he explained the chocolate making process. His passion for the business was very obvious. Daniel dropped us at our Santiago hotel. He was a wonderful guide and the entire tour was most enjoyable. I would highly recommend it.

What better combination could there be than chocolate and sparkling wine? We thoroughly enjoyed this tour——it was a lovely, relaxing day. No rushing from place to place, and the wonderful chocolate we brought home lasted for days. Sean is a great guide—- knowledgeable about the country he obviously loves, and happy to share his insights on the economy, politics and culture of Chile. We enjoyed all of it.

I could not have asked for a better tour to close out our vacation! To start our tour guides were very respectful, knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating! They were flexible with our schedule, picked us up later and then dropped us off directly at the airport. With respect to the chocolate factory and the sparkling wine locations selected by our tour guide we could not have asked for a better combination. The chocolate factory demonstration was so much fun, we got to make our own chocolate and taste so many different types of different chocolates produced by the factory. The sparkling winery was beautiful and very informative. I did not realize how complex sparkling wine is to make. By the way, the tasting was so relaxing and refreshing! Prior to dropping us off at the airport, we had lunch in small village which I believed was called Promeida and it was by far the best food we had in our time in Chile! Can’t thank the tour team enough for how welcomed they made us feel throughout our time on the Tour!
