    Your 4 hour coastal cruise will depart from Marina Pez Vela. Board the catamaran and cruise into the open sea, in search of spotted dolphins, migrating humpback whales, sea turtles and manta rays. Sail along the coastline of Manuel Antonio National Park and enjoy views of the mysterious islands, jagged cliffs and unique rock formations. Catch a glimpse of numerous species of marine birds, including magnificent frigates, pelicans, yellow footed boobies and white ibises. While touring the coastline, the captain will hoist the sails, wind permitting, and you will enjoy the feel of the catamaran cutting quietly through the blue waters of the Pacific. Your guides will be ready to answer any questions you have, while giving a brief history of the area. After touring the coastline, anchor in a protected cove within the pristine Biesanz Bay for a snorkeling adventure in the warm pacific waters. Observe the underwater playground. Masks, snorkels and fins will be provided. See numerous species of colorful tropical fish. Afterwards, come back on board and enjoy a delicious buffet meal of grilled fresh fish brochettes with onion and green peppers, pasta salad with vegetables, homemade pesto sauce, fresh tropical fruit, homemade flan, the freshest Costa Rican coffee, cocktails and natural fruit drinks.     Discover the true meaning of the word paradise as you relax and enjoy the Pura Vida ("pure life") in this beautiful bay surrounded by the lush green landscape and the soothing sounds of the ocean. We took the private tour for 4 couples. It was the most fantastic experience from start to finish. Super friendly staff on arrival who took us to the boat. The on board crew were excellent. Steven ( our main guide) spoke perfect English and was incredibly knowledgable . He gave us a running commentary of the area we were in, as well as some insights into the history of the area, and what we could expect from the trip. He was super friendly, kept our drinks replenished, and could not possibly have made our trip more enjoyable. He is an asset to this company for sure. The chef ( Jimmy) provided an excellent meal of fish kebabs, pasta salad - and a constant supply of fresh fruit - all from a tiny kitchen. David (driver) was a steady hand and ensured that we were in the best spots, especially for the sunset, which was unbelievably awesome A great day was had by all. Thank you guys for making this trip so very special for us.

Our family of four adults just ended a private morning catamaran birthday tour with Manuel and Jimmy. We saw whales, dolphins and many types of birds. We swam in a secluded cove and hiked on the beach a bit. Lunch was prepared to perfection. Just being on the water, with mountains and islands as backdrop and Manuel and Jimmy as hosts, was perfect.

The captain and guide did the best they could to make this outing enjoyable. The prepared lunch was incredible! However, the Catamaran experience was very disappointing. The only wildlife viewing consisted of 2 dolphin. Was expecting more for being around Manuel Antonio than just puttering around the rough water on a cheap boat powered by a Suzuki 60 HP Outboard engine. Would not recommend wasting your time and money on this “adventure”. Not even if it was free!
