Our family of 7 chartered a day trip with Nik and Natalie of Vigilant Yacht Charters after arriving at the Bay of Islands by cruise ship. All communication prior to the trip was handled very promptly. The boat was well kept and Nik and Natalie were lovely. We had a great trip out to Roberton Island where we hiked, kayaked (and could have snorkeled but chose not to). When we got back on the boat, Natalie had prepared a really tasty salad (made from vegetables from their garden) and chicken - perfect for the day. We really enjoyed the day and everything about it. We had a wonderful time, including our 9 year old granddaughter who was not too sure about the size of the boat (she ended up loving it too, and enjoyed the attention paid to her by Natalie). We would absolutely recommend Vigilant Yacht Charters to anyone visiting the Bay of Islands.
