Our day was incredible! I loved it!
It was nice to be picked up and dropped off at our hotel. The individual attention given to our family was appreciated.
The van was comfortable. Our guide, Omar, was great. His English is really, really good. (He spent time living in the USA and understands Americans.) He was very engaging.
Ask for Omar! He has family connections to the Mayan culture. He was able to help us understand it better.
Omar had SO much information to share about Chechen Itza. He could answer any question asked. He told us about the history of Valladolid too.
Our guide took us to a beautiful cenote. It’s less known, so there were no crowds. It felt like our own paradise.
Omar took us to eat with a private Mayan family, instead of at a large buffet. It was just our group. The food was really, really good. We learned some Mayan words.
I regret that it was our first day in Mexico. We hadn’t figured out the tipping culture yet. (I think we didn’t tip Omar well enough. Oops. He certainly deserved it. But, he was gracious.)
Thank you to Omar, and the whole company!
