Hacienda Cacaoymango belongs to a family of farmers with a great passion for the countryside and its surroundings, as well as for making chocolate and gastronomy with the products that grow on their land. Let's prepare together a delicious chocolate from the tree to the bar, in Alberto's chocolate workshop. Together with us you will taste a delicious typical and elegant three-course lunch prepared by chef Jamil. On our tour, we will find coffee plants, vanilla, rice, around 50 tropical fruits, which you can taste and learn the processes of each one.

    - We start with a welcome, recommendations and indications to our travelers. - We continue to the cocoa plantations, where we will demonstrate the entire process from planting, care and harvesting of cocoa. Duration of approximately 2 hours. - We will go to the artisan chocolate elaboration area where we will learn about the fermentation, roasting, grinding and tasting. Duration of 30 minutes approximately. - We continue to the chocolate factory, where the chocolate bars are made; we learn about the whole process for the elaboration of the chocolate bar, the tourist elaborates his own bar with dehydrated fruits. Duration of approximately 30 minutes. - Then we go to the restaurant area where we will taste a three-course menu. Duration of approximately 1 hour

We really liked this stop on our way to Guayaquil. Ninfa and her family are extremely welcoming. We did the cacao tour which was really interesting (it takes around 2h30). You learn the process of making chocolate from the tree to the different chocolate products. We could even do our own chocolate bar !! They have an offer including the lunch which is delicious (3 courses menu). Only with food from their garden. Don’t miss it ! It is a wonderful experience if you want to discover the world of chocolate which is really important in Ecuador.

Ce fut une expérience familiale très riche et instructive au contact des propriétaires Jamil et Ninfa. Le tour est très complet et les repas sont excellents avec des produits frais de leur propre ferme. L'expérience fut encore plus riche du fait d'avoir dormi sur place. Nous le recommandons fortement. Ninfa et son mari nous ont permis également de réaliser une passion pour notre fils. Celui de pêcher dans le Rio. Leurs connaissances du Cacao et leurs partages de leur culture équatorienne a été un must pour notre famille. Merci et le chocolat est Exquis.

This was one of the best 1/2 day tours that I have done. The tour was relaxed but very informative. Guide was superb. Her knowledge was excellent. The hands on approach added to the experience. Food ( either picked from the trees or lunch) was very enjoyable. I would highly recommend this tour.
