Bến Dược is about 20km farther away then popular-Bến-Đình-area and attracts fewer tourists. There is also a massive temple in memory of Vietnamese killed at Củ Chi; it is, at present, the largest war memorial in Việt Nam. The stimulation of this Củ Chi liberated area will give you insights into the architecture of the houses, the lives, the living, the fighting of the army and the people of Củ Chi in the period from 1961 – 1972.

    Upon arrival, You’ll first visit the Củ Chi Liberation Area Reconstruction Zone, which covers 50 hectares and recreates events from the country’s struggle during the war, including the periods of intense conflict. This zone offers a unique opportunity to witness firsthand how the war affected the daily lives of the people who lived and fought in Củ Chi between 1961 and 1972.

Cu Chi Tunnel tour was really fun and informative, especially thanks to Loi, our tour guide. Highly recommend to go atleast once to experience how the living conditions were back during the war (if youre into that kinda stuff!).
