With this panorama it’s the perfect place to eat our unique lunch. What’s better than cooking outdoor a traditional Swiss Cheese Raclette?     Taking the cable car back to the car we are continuing to Grindelwald, where you have the possibilities to do shopping or we will bring you to some stunning places and viewpoints. Instead of Grindelwald we can also do a stop at the lakeside village of Iseltwald which is a nice contrast from what you have seen so far. Driving back to Zurich with a backpack full of unforgettable memories and beautiful pictures will make you daydreaming for a long time. Manuel was a fabulous tour guide! He picked us up with a smile and was pleasant the entire day. Going with the private guide is your best option in Switzerland because you can go at your own pace and see what you want away from the crowds. Highlights of the trip for us: walking into a small church where the organist happened to be performing, the picnic by the lake where Manuel prepared Raclette for us (yum yum yum) and the gondola rides up to the hidden village of Murren. Finally, he was a premier photographer and got us the best pictures in front of the Swiss Alps.

Nicole was our guide for this tour. When she came to pick us up for our tour, it was raining and cold. We discussed whether there were other options we could do on the tour since some of the outdoor activities would be less than ideal. She was very open to making changes to the itinerary. She took us to the Italian Alps area instead. On the way there, we stopped to have a snack by a waterfull and then went to visit a castle. When we arrived at the Italian Alps, the weather was sunny and warm. We had an amazing time walking around the area and a lovely lunch at a restaurant with wonderful views of the water. She took us via an overpass on our way back to the hotel. It was snowing when we took the overpass, and the scenery was beautiful - we enjoyed having three different climates in one day! Nicole was an engaging and fun guide, and I highly recommend requesting her for this tour!

Awesome day from Basel.. Manu was superb. Covered much ground. Nothing too much trouble and the scenery was breathtaking. Highly recommend to anyone.. just brilliant
