Pedro was excellent. I had be to sintra prior with a group tour but this time i used private tour and such a difference for the better. I learned so much more and was able to take much more in after private tour. We also visited Cabo de Roca and Cascais with so much background history from pedro. He is so kind and knowledgable. had a mother daughter trip with my 73 year old mom it was amazing

Now this is the way to really experience Sintra! The entire experience was so personalized; Nunu made sure to take care of everything for us, including securing our tickets to the Pena Palace and making sure we were relaxed and at ease the entire time. He also knew exactly where to be and when for us to get the absolute best experience in Sintra, throughout our time at the Palace and Gardens, and even took us to the beautiful beaches of Cascias — we avoided the long lines, capitalized on the best time of day weather-wise, and were able to snap the most incredible photos simply because he was so strategic with timing. We learned so much about the rich history of Sintra and Lisbon, with Nunu providing fun facts about what we were seeing, which made our tour all the more engaging. We also stopped for cappuccinos and then lunch in a cute little local spot off the beaten path with delicious lasagna and fresh chicken skewers. Overall, a wonderful day learning about a magical city with a fantastic guide — would highly recommend!

Our tour guide, Carlos, is a gentleman and a scholar. He understood the ins and outs of every area we visited in Sintra and even had the opportunity to enjoy some secret spots without another tourist in sight. His knowledge of Portuguese history was only matched by his kind spirit and hospitality.
