What a wonderful experience! Evan was an amazing tour guide with very educational and thoughtful information. Buddy the horse was precious, gentle and the perfect guide! We loved every minute of our tour and will do it again next time we are in town.

We had a wonderful private carriage tour with Sydney! She gave us options so we could customize what kind of tour we wanted. She wanted us to see and hear about the things that interested us. She patiently answered all of our questions even when we were interrupting her narrative. Not only did she know about Charleston's past, but also about its present and all about our wonderful draft horse. Apparently the horses spend the first decade of their lives, pulling heavy farm equipment through Amish farmland. They weigh 1900 pounds and are able to pull five times their body weight! If they don't work, they atrophy and die. The carriage tours allow them to transition away from the heavy farm work they were doing when they were younger into an easier life where they are still healthy and working. They are very well taken care of and loved! The private tour was totally worth money! Would do it again and would request Sydney!

We took tour with Mike and Harmony. Mike was very informative and knowledgeable. The beautiful homes and architecture were breathtaking. I would recommend this private carriage tour to anyone who really truly wants to know the history of Charleston .
