Our Douro Valley Winery tour day was absolutely wonderful. There were several aspects of the day that made the day really special: 1. The fact that we were able to customize our trip to visit a winery we were really interested in was a huge plus. It was easy to arrange the schedule to our wants and management was easy to get in touch with. 2. It was really wonderful to visit several very unique places that gave us a taste for different wine varieties and flavor profiles. It was also great to be able to support the local businesses and learn more about the wine making process and experience specifically in Douro. 3. Nuno, our tour guide. What a wonderful human. His wealth of knowledge about the history, culture, and what makes Portugal uniquely Portugal was impressive to say the least. He was attentive, communicative, and responsive. We felt very safe and taken care of with Nuno which took away any nerves or stress we had coming into the day. We couldn't recommend Nuno enough.
