Andrea was absolutely the best guide we could’ve hoped for. She radiated warmth, positivity, and genuine love for Puerto Rico and El Yunque, and that energy was completely contagious. She didn’t just guide us through the rainforest, she brought it to life. One of the most touching moments was when Andrea climbed off the trail just to pick a flower for us to taste, explaining its medicinal properties with so much passion and care. She made learning feel like a joy, not a lesson. And it didn’t stop at the forest! After our tour, Andrea took the time to bring us to Luquillo, where she recommended the best local spots to eat. Every suggestion she gave us was spot-on, and it felt like she was letting us in on a delicious little secret only a local would know. Andrea didn’t just guide us through El Yunque; she gifted us an unforgettable day filled with laughter, wonder, and heartfelt connection. Her spirit, kindness, and joy made this one of the most memorable experiences of our lives. Small group is the way to go. You will get more personal service. You will get muddy. You will get wet. The natural slide was a thrill. The natural pool was refreshing and a good place to people watch. It is a physical experience that is a very nice workout. Mitchell was very good.

We absolutely loved our excursion! Our guide was Andrea and she was so incredibly lovely - if you get lucky enough to have her you’ll no doubt have a great time. True to the listing we only had 6 people in our group: my friend and i and a family of 4. It was really nice to be in such a small group, we were able to hike through el Yunque at a pace that worked for all of us and Andrea was able to help us when climbing any difficult rocks or managing the muddy path (she’s much stronger than you would think!) We were able to learn about the plants on the path, hike to a beautiful natural pool, go down a mini waterfall/slide, jump off a cliff and even rope swing for those with more energy. After Andrea took us to have lunch at the kiosks de Luquillo and you need to try the mofongo & fried cheese! Highly recommend, you won’t regret booking!
