Lagoa do Fogo, Portugal Lagoa do Fogo is the second largest lagoon on the island of São Miguel and one of the largest in the Azores. It is located in the Serra de Água de Pau, which is the second highest place on the island of São Miguel.
The visitor will have the opportunity to climb to the lagoon site along a road full of hydrangeas, which makes for an even more pleasant view. Arthur was the best tour guide! He took us all around the island and is super knowledgeable about the history. He is so friendly and genuine. My boyfriend and I could not have asked for a better day. We ended up booking another tour with Arthur because we loved him so much! Highly recommend.
