  • Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, Muscat, Oman
    one of the largest mosques in the world. The mosque is opened Saturday to Thursday from 8:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Friday it will be closed. Here you can admire the second largest handmade carpet in the world and the famous chandelier in the main prayer hall. The Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque. Opened in 2001, this stunning marble mosque is one of the largest in the Gulf, with room to accommodate 20,000 worshipers. The mosque is built from 300,000 tonnes of Indian sandstone. The main musalla or prayer hall is square and 74.4 by 74.4 metres (244 by 244 feet) with a central dome rising to a height of 50 metres (160 ft) above the floor. The dome and the main minaret (90 metres (300 ft)) and four flanking minarets (45.5 metres (149 ft)) are the mosque’s chief visual features accommodate up to 20,000 worshippers. Dress code: Visitors are required to dress modestly, cover the entire arms and legs, and not wear too tight clothing. · Women and girls aged seven and above must cover their hair.

We had an excellent tour of Muscat with Said. The poor guy patiently answered all my questions about oman, Muslim life, Ramadan, etc. :) and politely smiled at all the bad jokes of my brother in law. Car was extremely comfortable. I would have liked to do more tours around oman with him

We love the Wadi Shab a challenging hiking because we walked almost 1 hour to reach our final destination it takes time the reason is we always stop with the beautiful views and we took a shoot , sinkhole and the white sand of fins beach are also both awesome. An amazing and so funny tour guide and he was very knowledgeable.

Iterinary was well done we are very grateful for having an informative ,pleasant and a good photograph tour guide he really made our trip memorable.A wonderful travel experience with no stress because its well planned visited the mountain and the dessert.Would recommend anyone who has not explored to try out and learn more about Oman.
