Welcome aboard Taboo ! Taboo is a cozy sailing catamaran and the perfect way to discover Moorea otherwise. Plan your "à la carte" day with us, all the boat is yours ! What we are used to offer you : Sailing on the north coast of Moorea inside and outside the barrier reef, having a panoramic view on Moorea's landscapes and majestic mountains. Exploring the lagoon wildlife by snorkeling with sting rays, black tip sharks and tropical fishes. Visiting a garden of coral between the Tiahura's motus (small islands). Searching the sea turtles. Looking for the Tikis, some underwater traditional polynesian statues. We offer you for lunch the local special dish " Fresh raw tuna salad with coconut milk and rice" but if you prefer to bring your own lunch just let us know. Would you want to spend more time sailing or snorkeling ? Would you want to sail in the Opunohu bay ? Or something else ? Let us know, we'll adapt the tour with your wishes and our safety conditions.

Then, go on your right (towards Hilton) and walk 200m along the road, on the lagoon side, until the dinghy place. Please, notice that departure point is NOT from the beach.

You'll see a Church with an orange roof in front of you. Turn on your left before the chuch and park your car. You're arrived on the Cruise Ship dock.

As our departure time & place depends of several parameters, we'll confirm them the day before the tour.

We usually start from our boat mooring near Mareto/Ta'ahiamanu public Beach (between the two bays) or from the Hilton's pontoon.
We also may be able to start from Papetoai dock.

If you have a car, we will send you all the details & maps.

We had a wonderful time on the full day cruise aboard the Taboo. The waves and current were a little higher than usual so some of the snorkeling spots weren’t as clear as they usually are, but that is our only complaint which was out of their control. The shuttle pickup was prompt and all staff were polite, informative, and wonderful hosts. They prepared a delicious fresh fruit plate and cocktails. Service went above and beyond a simple boat tour as it was clear that they wanted us to enjoy ourselves. Overall a beautiful day and a wonderful tour. It was about 6 hours in total so you can still have time for other activities in the day if that’s your thing. Highly recommended!

Had the BEST day on the catamaran today! Crossed so many things off the bucket list. If you do one thing on Moorea, DO THIS. Sharks, rays, fish galore, a beautiful boat, a knowledgeable host and a gorgeous sunset. I was initially worried that the full day tour would be too long, but it went so fast and we got to see so many things and take our time in all of the locations we went. So worth it.

The absolute best! Liza and Leo were excellent. We took a Private Full Day Sunset tour and it was perfect! We swam with sting rays and black tip reef sharks, saw lots of cool fish in the coral gardens and had LOTS of great photo opportunities. Liza transferred our whole group of 8 to and from the excursion, and even stopped and waited for us to pick up lunch and dinner for take out. Voila Moorea is very professional and the boat is immaculate and very well cared for. We'd go again any time. Thank you Leo and Liza!
