We absolutely enjoyed this tour! Fred was engaging and well-informed. He made a real effort to connect with our 13-year-old daughter and respected that we wanted to avoid being overwhelmed with too much information. He was a fantastic guide and ensured we stayed on schedule to enjoy a variety of sights. Afterward, he recommended a great place for lunch, and we were thrilled with how the day turned out. Strongly recommend!

I bought my ticket on Trip Advisor through Viator for Tower of London September 1, 2024.and I printed them at home. The ticket gave directions and said go to I think it was gate A and look for a tent. I went with another couple and we allowed plenty of time to find it. We went into an entrance, not labeled A, and asked someone if this was A. They said it was. We walked down a long walkway to the outside. Then we had to decide whether to go right or left as the water was in front of us. We decided to go right and we walked down an even longer walkway to where we finally saw people & activity. I went up to the place where you by tickets and tried to get them to honor it. It did not have a QR code on it so they told me it was no good. I said we were told to go to a tent. She pointed to a tent and said go there. The guy at the tent said that all he did was take tickets. We asked both of them what to do and both said call Viator. We tried to call Viator SEVERAL TIMES but no answer. We left a message and they NEVER called me back.
We had paid for a private tour and all we could do was buy a tcket and do a regular tour with 200+ other people.
The directions were terrible. If you knew London I am sure you would know where to go but we did not. We did ask about gate A and even though he said it was, we did not think so as it was far away from the entrance. This was a very poor experience and I will NOT use Viator again for anything. I have also read poor reviews from other folks. Trip advisor should warn people about this group.

The guide was very quiet and did not seem informed. He was unable to answer direct questions about sites we passed.
